BTW – Week one
Now I start to understand. What seemed like “a breeze” – going back to work, was a little more than I had expected.
While I am thankful, and grateful, for getting back to work, I now understand why everyone was saying “take your time”. The week took a bit of an effort to get through. Although I am only working 4 hours a day, it was a chore to get up and going every day.
Thursday I was dragging, as I was not feeling 100%. Not sure if I am coming down with anything, but it certainly felt like it. Friday was a work from home day! This allowed me the opportunity to sleep in a bit, which I needed. I need to get a good schedule going.
Next week is already starting to look like there will be little consistency, on the work hours. I have a few different meetings to attend, that are scattered through the times of day. Some days will be 8 – 12, others 10 – 2, etc. Oh well, such is life. I will need to adapt.
For now, will enjoy the weekend and time with my honey.
Peace,
-Dennis
Well, I finally caught up with your blog. I thought I was subscribed but it was to the old one. STOP moving around, will ya! Geez. Well I’m sorry to hear you have to work again! :), but I am glad you can. Just don’t push it. It’s not worth it. Remember the company really doesn’t care about you, you’re just a number. I am so glad I am out of the working world.
I was hoping to catch up with you for lunch before you went back, but thing got so hectic around here the last month or so, I just could find a way to make it happen. We’ll catch up some Saturday.
Hang in there, and remember if you need anything, I am just around the corner!
Yo little Bro……just a friendly reminder that you are “super” ….. But you are NOT Superman!
Love ya…take time to relax…..which means doing a whole lot of nothing!
Hugs & kisses,
Sis
